An information event specifically for social care researchers, practitioners and users to introduce the latest call from the NIHR’s RfSC programme. We’ll introduce the call and give you an overview of the remit, requirements and application processes.

10.00am – Welcome & Introduction to Social Care Research with Professor Martin Knapp, Director of the NIHR School for Social Care (SSCR) (30 minutes)
10.30am – Insight into School of Social Care Research (SSCR) funding calls with Dr Michael Clark, Research Programme Manager NIHR SSCR (15 minutes)
10.45am – Social Care and the Clinical Research Network (CRN) with Ruth Hudson, Research Delivery Manager, NIHR CRN Eastern (15 minutes)
11.00am – LIVE – Overview of RfSC with Ben Morgan, Assistant Director, NIHR RfPB (30 minutes)
11.30am – LIVE – Q&A session with Dr Andrew Bateman, Director of RDS EoE, Emma Wilkinson, RDS EoE Social Care Champion, Dr Michael Clark, and Ruth Hudson (60 minutes)
